I think O'Brien Sr was brilliant in his post race interview. He must have been massively disappointed to see a long-term plan thwarted but he analysed the race objectively before deflecting any criticism away from the jockey and on to himself.

I'm wondering about the jockey situation at Godolphin, though, on the back of that and the dreadful ride Dettori gave Invisible Man in the first.
