Agree, its excellent. ;) Although they have enough money so i downloaded it on BT.

I think I'll buy it on Monday, I like the Chilis and I like their new single. Got to be worth a try - add it to the other 4 or so albums of theirs I have!

Probably the only mainstream band (aside from Radiohead) that i have any time for. I`ll be buying the album.

My favourite band - The Mars Volta - will be opening up for them on their upcoming US tour, i`m tres depressed that line-up wont be happening over here.

Double disc album is always iffy, I have not heard the previews or the single so no comment but double disc album is very hard to pull off.

I bought Stadium Arcadium yesterday morning and it's very good, they are returning more to their original style which is good. It's actually one of those albums that I liked straight up at the first play, often I need to hear albums a few times first before I get used to them.

For anyone interested, I received this e-mail from 101cd.com today.

They have a great guitarist. Shame about the rest...
John Frusciante. He`s playing on the (hopefully) upcoming Mars Volta album as well.

Well I like it!! Not as much as the other album I bought today though, it's bloody brilliant. Indie Anthems I've had it on loud while spring cleaned my flat after a swim and a few hours sunbathing today. B)

Surprised at the Observer . They gave Morrisey a 5 star rating recently so I thought that showed taste. Excellent album Wouldn't have been made without John Frusciatante but by the same token he couldn't have made it without the rest , Flea's bass and Anthony's vocals . Not a one man job as someone suggested .
Beautiful mix between funk and pop . They've walked this tightrope for years and still stayed cred . I think it's unfair for people to say they changed streams . Aside from their first 2 albums they've always had a produced sound but they don't translate that live . I saw them in Belfast around the time of Blood Sugar . 1990 thereabouts. Best gig I've ever been to . Imagine seeing the Chilli peppers with 5000 other people . You practically have them to yourself . I'll never see a gig like that again and I wouldn't go to Slane again , too many people .
This is a great albumn 24 songs . I defy you to not be touched by one of them
SNOW is a lovely song

When's the next mars volta supposedly out Euro? The last two albums are incredible.
Hopefully before the end of the summer. I`ve heard the next couple of months but that`s being optimistic.

Hmm... probably best for the general health of the forum not to link directly to torrent websites.

Took me an absolute age to get in to Radiohead, id listen time and time again but nothing, now i think there one of the greatest bands ever along with The Libertines.
