Our TV station has shown us distressing film of the bodies of two dreadfully emaciated ponies, a skewbald filly and a pie colt, probably yearlings, who appear to have been deliberately starved to death before being dumped, side by side, in an isolated lay-by near to Basingstoke.
The RSPCA and the Police are involved in what appears to be a case of deliberate cruelty to these two little animals. A 'yellow van' may be in the frame, but no-one knows yet. I hope that if anyone is caught, they suffer an excruciating illness for many months, just to teach them a lesson in pain.
