250/1 Beaufort 3000 quid fine as a non trier absolute nonsense IMO

When I heard I never knew the colours and thought I would try and spot the non trier.

The one I thought was going best of the back markers was Grannyfrancome

Beaufort apparently was reluctant to race, probably wouldn't have won with a rocket tied up it's ass, The jockey wisely thought let him do things in his own time and don't sour him.

IMVHO Stewards need to go work in a yard for a year before being allowed to steward ****

Quite. Beaufort is a monkey. There's absolutely nothing here which was/is untoward. As Warren says they have to run somewhere. Gavin has been punished for not beating the c*** out of him. What would have been the outcry if he had? Cant see any difference between Gavin's ride, the two behind him or the 4 in front of him.
 
So Warren's fine overturned, and Gavin's suspension halved...that doesn't sit right with me. I don't accept that Gavin didn't try to gain best possible placing, he did! The fact that it was so far down the field is neither here nor there. Beaufort scoped dirty, and has had issues like that before. He is very, very difficult to train. In another world probably wouldn't still be a race horse. Feel Gavin has been punished for being a jockey more than anything else and a point being made.
