Why doesn't racing have its own stock market where owners float their horses & Stalions on the exchanges?

This could be a good way of using shares in a horse to finance races rather than relying on the Levy for example; using something like 5% of horses captial should be used in financing a Class 6race, 8% financing a Class 5 race, we might have;

Class 6 Handicap

1. Belgian Bill (10,000 shares sold @ 122) - 5% = £610
2. Mister Micky (5,000 shares sold @ 399) - 5% = £975
3. Alexandros (3,000 shares sold @ 219) - 5% = £328
4. Petrova (775 shares sold @ 101) - 5% = £39

total prize money £1952

Big problem, Petrova owners contributed £39 and can win £1952 - how shall we fix this?

The market you suggest, in relation to selling shares in stallions has been existence for at least 50 years. More knowledgable forum members will given an exact history. Can you please explain why a stallion should contribute to levy funding?

Btw Phil, I really admire you digging your heels in here in the forum but rather than starting new thread after new thread why don't you answer a few questions on the other ones you started?
