Here in South Lanarkshire we appear to have missed the worst of it. It's been blustery with occasional horizontal wintry showers but the snow isn't really accumulating at all and we're quite high up.
I've seen some of the TV images. They make for uncomfortable viewing and I hope those worst affected get the support they need.
