Both of them a very bad year,
generally they win many races each year but even with Harbinger and Workforce, Stoute is having a very quite year with a lower strike rate than usual.


Oxx not having the same amunition but also dissapointing not to see him winning more races.
 
During Henry's down years it seems Khalid Abdullah was sending all his good animals to Stoute and Fabre. Now it seems more balanced so that plus the lack of any decent Weinstock horses probably explains his down year.
 
Eleanora Duse is decent .

Both are well down it is true. But two shining stars for Stoute amongst all the crap.
 
Oxx indicated in The Irish Field at the start of the season that this could be a quiet year for him.

While Stoute has had fewer winners this year, any season a trainer wins the Derby and the King George it hasn't been too bad for them.
