Strange Drinks

Whilst on my google hunt for a blackcurrant vodka recipe I came across one for garlic vodka.

I had to order a "chinese" for someone the other day, half a lager, half a bitter in a pint glass.....

A kalibar shandy is for the non-drinker/driver so that he has a pint like everyone else in his company.

My favourite tipple is a White Russian:
2 parts Vodka
1 part Kahlua
3 parts cream
over ice

Variants, which i have yet to try are:
White Trash - substitute JD for vodka
White Cuban - substitute Rum for vodka

I've just made a batch of blackcurrent brandy, Tryptich and I would imagine that making blackcurrant vodka would be the same method as making damson vodka (my speciality!!!!).

PM me if you want the recipe

Steve T, I have always known that as a pint of "golden". Didn't realise it had other names elsewhere.
Well the recipient was from up near you Dave, in Chester, the confused look on the guy behind the bar suggested it wasn't a regular order in the Goodwood area!

Irn-Bru
Go on then Brian, why do you regard this fizzy concoction as being stranger than any other fizzy concoction?

As a sidenote, Irn Bru outsold Coca Cola by a factor of 5:1 in my mothers shop.
