There are three that I'll be chancing today. The first was noted lto at Ascot and travels down to the fun palace that is Yarmouth:

Sharp Combo - 3.06 Yarmouth 7/2 Win

This one was noted lto at Ascot on Shergar day and trainer sends him down for a trip to a track where doesn't send many and I'd like to take the hint from them applying the pieces for the firts time. He made good late headway at Ascot and, although it wasn't the fastest-run race, I'm hoping that they'll be providing the best conditions for the horse to run his best.

Lurking down the bottom of the weights, I'm hoping that:

The Thin Blue Line - 4.12 Sandown 12/1 Ew

will be able to get a good possie from his low draw and have sufficient stamina up the Sandown hill in the last furlong. He's certainly well drawn in 2 so let's hope hat it's a worthwhile venture for trainer Dalgliesh who travels down from Scotland for this. The horse is one i've had an eye on this term and don't think he'll be disgraced off this weight.

Lastly, how can I resist:

Tommy G -5.12 Sandown - 16/1 Ew

This one's below his LWR and canny Jim sends him all the way down south for this. He's one of three that Goldie sends south and I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them oblige. After all, he's only had 6 runners there in he last 5 years and scored with three of them. Tommy G came down on the corresponding day last year in the mile race and was going well before meeting trouble and finishing 4th. he raced off 77 that day but tomorow goes for the 10f race rated 4Lbs lower: interesting and worth a look at 16/1

So:

3 x singles

Ew Trixie

Good luck
