I have to say that, no matter which way I look at it,
Red Royalist - 5.05 Ffos Las 5/1 Ew
looks like a cracking opportunity.
Let's face it, although favourite Lusaka won easily last time, it wasn't much of a race, was it? Odds on? Well, Red Royalist is back after a long break but if you go back to last July and his run behind Master Milliner, it stands out like a sore thumb.
If he retains anything like his proper ability, he would skate up here.
A long time ago, I know but in the past he ran Frankenstella to 4l at York, giving that one a stone (!!). As I say, some time ago but even if he has deteriorated a stone, he'd win this and as it is he's rated 10Lbs lighter anyway.
The trainer had a winner yesterday, the ground is right and Loughlane is up in this apprentice race.
Win or lose, Red Royalist has to be done and 5/1 gives me an ew shout.
