I love a staying handicap, it must be said.
Going right back to this season's Chester Cup, I made a big note for Falcon's Eight after his running in that and he is of major interest for me today in the Irish Cesarewitch. Zoffee won the Chester Cup, my fellow giving him 19Lbs. Today he re-opposes 8Lbs better off for 4L and I think we'll see a marked improvement.
Last time out, FE was not really sighted at Galway but now, back to a race where he was 2nd last year and 5th the year before, he looks most interesting. I know he's a 9yo but it looks like this has been a target once more and the Chester Cup run suggests that his abilities have not diminished.
Falcon Eight - Curagh 4.25 18/1 Ew 6 places.
Had a minor interest in Banderas (4.15 Southwell) too (FYI) but really FE is my only real interest.
