This something that needs a serious look at.
let's say you backed horse X in a field of 5 horses.
Then comes along horse Z who was not in the betting in the 5 horse race and wins
You finish 2nd but just lost your money to a horse you couldn't bet on.
Surely bookmakers should be made to have 2 books to protect punters from this?

Happened to me,once.
Can't recall the name,but I was told (by B365) their rule was "all in,run or not" so I'd lost my stake to a horse that wasn't even in the race when I'd placed the bet - in a classsic too,IIRC.
