Is Gladatorious deffo going for that? 7 to back at the moment. Paco Boy is one to take on at Newbury. Don`t think the straight track will suit at all over 8f.
Really? If he wasnt going to stay a mile (pretty unlikely) then Sandown would found him out for sure. Has also won twice at newbury of course, so the course itself is hardly a problem
But would the lockinge be run at a fast pace anyway? We shall see, but i think he will be fine
Its long been stated that 7f is a "specialist" trip, and often wouldnt disagree, but is this dominating the thinking (or prejudice) surrounding PB a little too much?
Even though for a while the gaps weren't opening for Tartan Bearer, you'd still prefer to see him running over 12f, he could be immensely good at that trip. I get the impression he won't be anywhere near as good at 10f.
