Edit: Zone Alarm calls it Ad Blocking, should be configurable through the Privacy options.

I think I've cracked it, guys...

I went into ZA / privacy / main / ad blocking and reset the security from high to medium. The oddschecker windows are coming up. Thanks for all the help. I can get my bets on now

My suggestion was to uninstall ZoneAlarm, get a screwdriver, open your base unit, get a magnifying glass and look to see if any ZoneAlarm fragments are trying to hide behind microchips etc - if they are, spray weedkiller on them - then pop your base unit into the washing machine (just to make certain) and afterwards I'm sure the problem would be fixed.
