His commentaries so far at Meydan are cringeworthy, really hard to sit here and listen to that awful discombulated drivel.
Really, Des Scahil should have had a bigger job in commentary and would love the BBC to give him a job on big days - a true Irishman would bring in the crowds with electrifying, hairs on the back of your neck standing up moments of sheer passion, professionalism.
If I owned a horse and had to listen to Terry Spargo or Jim McGrath voice over I'd be very disapointed.
