Test Of Stamina

That's what happens in America Colin, why would you prefer 6 races to 10? Why not have less meetings but more races per meeting?

Dante, my love, I'm actually talking about the stamina needed if you are at the racecourse.

I was at Dunstall Sands on Monday and I was well knackered after eight races.

Could be me, of course, old and overweight does tend to find the legs out.

Nice to see you out of hibernation, BTW. :luv:

Judging from what I saw on C4, there weren't too many there by the third race, never mind the tenth.

Ten races at Wolverhampton today. First at 2.25 last at 7.20.

Some decent horses on show but does anyone want TEN!! races?
Several times in the last couple of years they've had eight or even ten races at Newbury if you count an Arab race to kick off with and the charity race at the end. It doesn't matter surely - you are not obliged to get involved in ALL the races on the card - if there are more than six it gives a chance to relax and have a drink and a chat :) without feeling you have to go out and inspect the horses, clap the winner in etc etc
