I hope both horses are OK and it is looking a bit more hopeful. Broadway Boy is the risk we can’t really do much about in advance, but I hope this National is the last with a 13yo in it and the risk to Celebre D’Allen was entirely predictable, especially in today’s conditions.

Micheal Nolan had a shocker there and deserves a bit more than a fine. The horse ran a great race, but once it stopped he should have. It’s a long way home from 2 out and he had no chance of getting there once he stopped.
