The 2025 Royal Hunt Cup (Handicap)

I've actually been told to back one in this but my opinion isn't welcome on here.

Sulking isn't the best look when you're trying to be edgy - you'll be using #bekind next. 😂

You can give your opinion if you want to, or not give it if you don't want to.

Just don't expect everyone to hang on your every word, that's all.

And maybe mind your language.

I've not got involved in the Royal Hunt Cup yet - but I'm sure I will at some point.

Your claim to fame is setting up a betting exchange paying by cheque. I wouldn't be coming to you for anything involving prediction.

I have no claims to fame at all, actually.

Fame seems to be something that others crave - I'm just happy to back a few winners and keep my head above water.

Like I said, feel free to give an opinion or keep it to yourself, as you wish.

I value both you guys contributions on horse racing. Let's all try and pull in the same direction heading into next week. As opposed to pulling the forum apart.

Ian has kept the place ticking along nicely over the winter, and it's hard to find a forumite more mad about racing than I am, which he clearly is.

Is there any chance we could knock this on the head now, Slim?

I love that you think he's holding the forum together. He's doing the opposite.

Metal Merchant at 50s would be a tentative early pick. Well handicapped on some good efforts last season.
There's obviously a few in there well handicapped on old, or possibly irrelevant, form.

Metal Merchant certainly isn't on a bad mark on his peak form.

I'm going to wait, though, until a few things I want to know become clearer.

Well it does take a while for a cheque to clear.

Someone needs to acquire a BetVictor beard - 33/1.

Nice to see a Road To Damascus experience in operation, though - from dissing the very existence of these threads on two Ascot straight course handicaps to putting up a horse in the blink of an eye....welcome to the positive discussion. 👍

I've always added value to this forum. Long before you started to pretend you're the captain.

I never said you didn't - and I've definitely no desire to be "captain."

After all, if I was, look at the latest (re)addition to my crew I'd have to manage - no thanks, you'd be a human resources nightmare. 😂

I am actually glad to see you making a positive contribution to this thread - why wouldn't I be?

Good luck with your bet.

Do not flame your fellow members.

What you think is meaningless to me. You're a tit of the highest order. Now fuck off and start a few more threads.

I've bet The Liffey at 22/1 win only. Better prices might be available. Don't be surprised if this goes off favourite on the day.
As recently as yesterday betting on these handicaps was for punters with an IQ of less than 5, then goes an backs something in one of these races at 22s with plenty of 25s available. You couldn't make it up :D

Where is there plenty of 25/1 available? There might be for moron punters like you, not me..

Ladbrokes, Corals and on the exchanges.

Maybe learn how to use the quote function as well before calling people morons.

When are you going sulking again btw, I might just take a break until your one hiding again.

Not much liquidity in this market on the exchanges, tbf, but there are such things as "Beards" - anyone with a BetVictor "Beard" with a clean account could get on at 33/1, never mind 25/1, let alone 22s.

Yeah working the forum is my life goal. It's idiots like you and Ian why people like me don't post

It's a long list of non-posters. Brian Hartigan would be embarrassed by this place.
