Had to post this as went to see these courtesy of some free tickets from my uncle. Got a lift with my mum so was meeting her to get a lift home after the concert.

First band on were a metal band called Roadstar - really were an absolute class act live, actually liked their songs too considering i'm not normally into that sort of thing. Anyway then The Darkness come on 9pm and Justin goes "It's our last UK gig till heck knows when so we're going to play every song we've ever... done, right back to the early stuff" and well i'd arranged to get picked up at 9.45.

How gutted was I :(, anyway they weren't great live but only saw about 5 songs so they were just getting warmed up when I had to leave, top of my current shopping list is tickets to see the whole show though :D

I'll never forgive them for waking me up at Glasto '03 with a shocking cover of Radiohead's Street Spirit. Shite shite shite.

Radiohead were the shining light at the Mudfest of 1997 . I was regretting going until then.

Not even close. Bad hair rock wasn't any good the first time round!! That Radiohead concert was an hour and a half of total perfection.

Don't upset Euronymous [/b][/quote]
It`s a fair point, the stuff that PDJ has heard is/was crap. Quality metal has never reached the charts, because it is by it`s nature uncommercial.
