I am not a happy bunny whatsoever. As a lot of you know, I am living abroad at the moment, so I have to rely on others when it comes to voting. For the last year and a half I have been hassling my father to register me on the electoral roll at his house (all he has to do is add my name to the bloody form!!!!) which he has assured me he has done. Since the New Year, knowing an election was imminent, I have asked him several times whether he has done this, questioning him each time : "are you sure? are you sure you're sure?" kind of thing, always getting the reply "yes, of course you are, don't worry, it's all sorted". Today I ring up West Berkshire District Council to arrange my proxy vote and, lo and behold, que sorpresa! shock horror! Daddy dearest hasn't bloody done it!!!! :angy: :angy: :angy: It is now too late to register in time for the general election & I ain't a happy bunny - rude email to the parent concerned has been sent!! It just goes to show that - 1) you can't trust a man to do anything properly (or believe them when they say they have done it!!!) and 2) if you want a job done properly, you have to bloody do it yourself. h:)

I now have a back up plan.....I doubt very much that my little brother will be bothered to use his vote so I am going to try and get him to let me use his vote.....

  James

I'm blonde, Derek....you'll have to state things a bit clearer than that if you expect me to understand what you're trying to say!!
