You do 'The Blaydon Races' pretty well, too, don't you, Diver?
We've had our festive hooley here at Crumbly Towers this afternoon, which was actually quite good this year as a number of last year's truly drooly have departed this mortal coil, and some younger (as in 65) gay guys have come in, along with their keyboards and splendidly sociable bonhomie. 'Roses of Picardy' is rather before my time, but we still mumbled along to it, while I resisted the desire to play Mum's old Metallica tape.
We sank many magnums of a rather nice fizz from Asda, £2.69 a go, called 'Charlemagne', and I defy all but the worst snob not to find it very pleasant, not sickly sweet nor drily acid, and excellent for mass quaffing.
