This is to see if forum members can collectively guess the actual number of runners. Only the final lot that come under starters-orders count. Final declarations will not be used to determine the winning amount.

I reckon the 14/1 would be near enough a mortgage job. I reckon people might be voting for it from a value angle rather than as a true reflection of what they think.

But you'd also have to think that with no Douvain and maybe even no Altior a few people will want to chuck some Grade 2 horses at the race just in case.
 
When you think about it if Sprinter (7 ran) couldn't chase away challengers then surely if Altior goes there without a prep anything and everything will want to have a go.

I voted for 5 because I can't think of any more names that will run but as you say DO plente grade 2 out there and across the water will want to give it a go

any advance on 11 runners?
