The Hidden Kingdon

Not too sure about level 3

1) There are 6 Fs

2) 14/0.5 = 28.
28x28 = 784
784/0.5 = 1568
1568-2000 = -432

-432+6+1568 = 1142

but that doesn't work...

Just seeing that Maths appears to be involved has attracted me to the joys of knitting or jigsaw puzzles.

I think there is an error here

Q1) What word, when written in capital letters,
is the same forwards, backwards and upside down?

There is more than one answer to this question. Which is the correct answer? Well, I'll give you a clue. It's something to do with 'middle'.

Q2)There were two postman who had known each other for over 3 decades. One day they met on their routes and they start talking.

Postman A says: "I know you have 3 sons, how old are they?"

Postman B says: "If you take their ages in years, and multiply them together, the result is your age."

A: "That`s not enough info"

B: "The sum of the 3 numbers equals the number of windows in that
building over there."

A: "Hmm... that`s still not enough."

B: "My middle son is red-haired."

A: "Ah, now I see!"

How old are the 3 sons?

Take the three ages and add them together.

Write down the answer to Q1 and then place the answer to Q2 after it in digit form. Place this after the usual address. (www.angelfire.com/co4/isad)

Note: The word should be in capitals.

Surely the answer to this should be NOON16 but that doesn't work. Anybody help?

I have no intention of playing the game but what has red-haired got to do with it. I ask because would entering the game give the answer to that?

Otherwise the sons could be 3, 4 and 5. Postman is 60, house has 12 windows.
Or 2, 4 and 6. Postman is 48, house has 12 windows.
Or 2,3 and 7. Postman is 42, house has 12 windows.
Or 2,3 and 8. Postman is 48, house has 13 windows.

etc, etc - insufficient information.

I suppose that the reference to the "middle son" could be to let us know that there are no twins involved but that makes no difference.

The answer I got was that their ages are 9, 5 and 2
That would make one of the two postmen 90! Why did you prefer that over any other solution - of which there are many but there are no 90 year old postmen?
