I've been looking at the trends and some surprises.
As mentioned on the Lincoln thread horses 5 and over drawn above 17 dont win over a mile at donny.
Which rules out 3 of my 4 a/p bets
MONTASSIB 14/1 BOARDMAN 40/1 BOPEDRO 50/1
horses ridden by claimers are another negative which rules out my main a/p bet
EMPIRESTATEOFMIND 33/1 and MAJESTIC and TOSHIZOU
Horses over 6 havent won since 1998 again Bopedro and Boardman.
One stat will have to go this year.
9st to 9s 4lb or horses rated 99 or more as 99 is 9s 4lb.
BARADAR has been well backed but has never won over a mile.
Horses drawn in the lowest 8 stalls are a negative but Johan won from 5 last year.
Which rules out JIMI HENDRIX and ENCOURAGEABLE.
CROUPIER and YANIFER only have form in lower grade.
Horses that have had a run are a negative.
The fav AL MUBHIR does look good as it's got heavy ground form.
WANEES AWAAL and ATRIUM look to have the best chances on the trends.
I've had a £1 at 40 on betfair on TOSHIZOU (claimer)because,on a line through Saltenstall and Bopedro he looks well in.
So I'm hoping at least one of the trends are broken
If not then WANEES looks best to me although its drawn 22/22
