After nearly being driven to jumping out of the window of my flat by bloody annoying adverts, I wondered what you lot reckon are the worst? At the moment, for me, there are two neck & neck - the Burger King "Only one-ninety-nine-er" warbling bimbo dubiously straddling a cannon & the latest "Bev-Kev-Bev-Kev" shite with the convertible Volvo. Both these adverts are enough to make me cringe every time they're on, without fail! I was also devastated to hear another one of those ads on the local radio at home recently - featuring not just Bev & Kev, but their mates Will, Phil, Bill & Jill too - AARRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Each time it came on I had to switch radio channels in a desperate attempt to subvert the gripping desire to drive into the nearest tree.....

As Ma's car only has a tape player (& I don't own any tapes any more) I'm kinda stuck when it comes to driving unless I have the radio on!

And how else would I watch Coronation Street if I didn't watch ITV?! :D

The Zafira ad has started a, erm, debate at work.

Those who have seen the ad will know what I mean when I ask you whether you think the kids are saying "Over-tired" or "Oh, they're tired" ?

We're all fans of the new Ford "Age of Aquarius" ad though.

We had this quite recently?? MINE was that b......sted ADMIRAL INSURANCE should be taken off your sets its ...................cant find words for it without swearing..... :angy:

S/L NOT ANOTHER CORRY FAN?? you wont get that on my T/V I can assure you or any other soaps and facile programmes they are switched off right away.... :angy: :angy:
NEWS, SPORT, OR DOCUMENTARIES, AND FACTUAL PROGRAMMES, ONLY ON MY T/V :D :D :D

Those Ring Tone ads drive me crazy. On Sky you get them all the time and usually twice in one slot of adverts........
Merlin, I am with you on the Admiral Insurance ad too. ' You're nothing without me'.
Stuff the parrot time?

I cannot take any more of the following song, especially as it seems to be in every single bloody ad break on every single channel

When the moon is in the Seventh House
and Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius

 Please, no more!!!

Not sure about the most annoying but my favourites are the Egg money ad with the continental bloke selling "the miracle in the bottle" and also the Nissan Vans "10 to many for Corey" ad.

It's an excellent tune HJ. From an era that produced some excellent songs. They can play it all day long for all I care.

The renault Megane ass-shaking ad has been the worst for a long time.

Currently the Matalan back-to-school ad irritates the shite out of me.

SL that Kev, Bev advert is very annoying especially as being called Kevin all i get all the time is people saying Kev, Bev. :angy:

The new Ford advert(i think) with the nice blond girl dreaming of the salesman who looks a bit like Austin Powers but is in fact the guy who used to be Carpet Monster on the Big Breakfast for those who used to watch it, and i know this as my family pointed it out to me as we remember him from when we were family of the week on there years ago. :shy:

All adverts are subliminary brainwashing shite  Excuse my merde , sil vous plait . Tu est trop gentile

The only ad I like is the Citroen car which morphs into the dancing robot car - that's adorable. Everything else is hogwash.

"And now, new, improved Hogwash! Washes hogs even whiter than white!"

I automatically reach for the mute button as soon as the adverts come on, but I would gladly use an uzi 9mm on that lot who line up for the finance company advert and take one step backwards, then one step forward into the warm lights. :teeth:

For me the ads during ATR & C4 racing etc with several loan companies, bath aids for the elderly & John Stalker flogging window blinds really get my blood boiling. Why can't they just show the test card transmission in the interval, you know the one with that bird playing EXY-OZYS on the black board with the stuffed doll...............sorry I'm talking crap now.

  That's what watching the ads does to you, Rail Bandit!

Dave - yeah, why have they suddenly hired a bunch of really, really FAT people for that? What's the message there - you fat bastads are a bunch of losers, you can only afford McDonalds and naff fleece sweaters from Primark? No wonder you're in debt - you're all fat pigs!

And how about the whiney Midlanders who get turned down for a loan - "agiiiinnne". Listen, you keep that accent up, sweetie, and the garden gnome gets it...

Yeah the kev bev advert is rather annoying but i think i have found one worse
that bloody loan advert on atr gets on my nerves

with the house the rhyme is constantly stuck in my bloody head,

and whats poor about mrs wilson always by the tills i feel for her bloody husband who has to pay the bills lol

APS with the cartoon house people, APS "Moving Forwards", Ocean Finance with the rainbow of debt washing over some families house, the legendary Kev and Bev, the Johnsons Baby Oil ad with the bloke who seems to have been voicing over the ads for all eternity (and gets disturbingly excited), any for Heat magazine and the like, the list goes on...

The Gene Kelly Volkswagon one and Cillit Bang are the best :D

I hate all the loan and ringtone ones and will turn the telly over when they're on. I have to laugh at the sad gimps in the loan ads though who claim to have borrowed something in the region of 20k to consolidate all their loans and then in the next breath say there was enough left over for a holiday :what: Are they too thick to realise that the holiday will infact be costing them three times as much as it would have if they'd actually just saved money for it instead?

Particularly dislike the KFC adverts too, the ones where they're singing the words that they're talking (does that make sense?). A really cheesy one is where the couple are eating ice cream and then suggest taking it upstairs, much to the horror of their children

I think there are two ads that are outstanding at the moment. The citreon ad that Krizon mentioned before. Brilliant stuff. Only topped by the Muller Rice ad , where I think its Nina Simone singing 'Got my arms, got my legs' etc. Best ad Ive seen since the Dulux old english sheepdog sang My Way, and maybe even better.
