....is that RUK run gems like their 'Last Year's Festival' and 'Denman and Newbury' vignettes; the latter of which has just finished playing.

Much as I was always in the Kauto Star camp, that second Hennessy win was a mighty performance from the Tank. He jumped like an absolute stag the whole way, and was so, so game in the last quarter mile. He is just a tremendous example of everything you would want in a staying chaser.

Grassy, stop hiding from the fact you can't work out this years formlines or winners by bringing up old arguments. We all see that you're gone at the game.

you need to get some 5f AW handicaps slurped down yer neck Grassy..they'll keep you occupied during the winter months instead of masturbating over twig hoppers of years gone by:lol:

Maybe the Irish Sea has gotten wider Grassy.

I take it our learned friend is on about the Gold Cup form.

The only real form line we have between them and us/us and them is Tidal Bay and his win in the Lexus which was like sticking a sharp stick in Irish Eyes.

Flemenstar looked exceptional until then now no one on either side of the channel wants to know as far as the Gold Cup goes.

Sir Des Champs did far less damage to his reputation but I'm nor so sure even he is that good a Gold Cup prospect although he has gone the right way since he won at the festival last season.

I really like Bog Warrior but he seems to be concentrating on Hurdling and Last Instalment unfortunately won't make it. First Lieutenant was really struggling to pass Flemenstar was right at the end of his tether in the Lexus. He runs at the trips 3miles and 3miles plus but he's never won anything since being stepped up and I couldn't have him in a hundred years for the Gold Cup.

Only leaves the Nicky Henderon duo and the bookies have probably got it just about right.

Looks a straight fight between the Henderson pair and Sir Des Champs best of the rest having a fair bit to find to win it.

If anything it looks easier than last year when all the fancied horse got mugged by Syncronized after late money and The Giant Bolster. Admittedly it always does before the fact but there's an awful lot of dead wood entered so I don't see the bookies being far off the mark.
