Vote here for the moment of the season from a shortlist of four . One lucky voter will receive a VIP day out at Sandown Park on the Saturday of the bet365 Ultimate Celebration, 27th April, for them and a friend. Not only that, but they will present the award, along with a member of the Channel 4 team, to the connections of the “moment” that is voted for as being the most popular.

Not an inspiring list but i went for Battle Group. Producing a horse to be able to win both a hurdle and a chase two days apart at a big festival, and in the style he did wins it for me.

My moment of the season has to be the triumph hurdle winner. Was just mind blowing how easily he destroyed the field of what were thought to be a fairly useful crop of juveniles.

Solwhit's glorious return to the top-end (training feat of the season bar none), Bobs Worth's relentless displays in the Hennessy and Gold Cup, and - of course - Hurricane Fly's Champion Hurdle victory, all feature highly.

But Sacre's effortless demolition job in the Champion Chase has to be the highlight. It was the moment I truly started to believe.

Same event as edgt - different reason.
Ride of the season from Ruby, judging the pace to perfection to beat 2 very good animals on a horse racing over an inadequate distance.
If anyone tries to tell you jockeys don't matter, just smile and say nowt.

Of the short list I'd go for Hello Bud as well. I really enjoyed the Twiston Davies double that day with Little Josh winning the Sefton.

Hurricane Fly regaining the Champion Hurdle was my favourite moment of the season though.

Yes indeed - well done Kevin Bishop, who has allowed someone else to train the horse in his name. The Bishop "revival" has been one of the interesting stories of the season, but I suspect when Johnny Farrelly gets a licence in his own right, that particular Indian summer will be over.
