Two races and two absolute shambles at the start and yet no bother with the starts on the Mildmay course. Can see big problems tomorrow if a false start arises, with only ninety yards to the first fence most of the field will have to run round the first and there will be quite a delay.

Twenty five out of twenty nine riders received a one day ban for their part in proceedings today, but what would be an ideal deterrent and what would the punishment be if it happens again tomorrow?

TV today suggesting a system with lights and if jockeys aren't ready at the off that's down to them but I reckon there's been a bit of gamesmanship from those at the back on both days and with forty runners tomorrow I can see problems.

Why doesn't the Starter just shout 'You've got 10 seconds' and then release the tape ten seconds later?

Shower of untold fannies.

A 60 yard elastic band was always a daft idea.
Why don't they just draw a line on the ground, and anyone who crosses before flagfall is out? Wouldn't be near so keen to jockey for position then.

They need to think seriously about disqualifying a horse if the rider is deemed to be at fault, as they do in athletics.
