They've divided the 5f handicap at Beverley on Tuesday.

Good to Firm now and there was sure to be a monster advantage to low draws in a maximum field.

"Devastated" doesn't even come close.

It's going to take a while for me to come to terms with this.

Apologies - the tongue is never far from the cheek with me.

The reality is I am mildly disappointed there isn't a maximum field for the 5f handicap on fast ground at Beverley on Tuesday and that instead the contest has been divided.

It's a draw bias "thang" (and the one on The Westwood is hardly a secret tbh).

I know what you mean Ian, high at Lingfield in sprints on turf, low at Beverley,I also used to like high at Leicester however you needed to exit the stall fast enough to hold your position.

I can't exit any stall very fast nowadays but sometimes have to hurry to get in one.
