I come here and seems to take ages for pages to load. I go to theracingforum or Final Furlong and they load instantly.

I'm pissed off.

This is nothing new. It's been going on for ever.

I'm pissed off.

Goodbye.

Eeeuch... does anyone else smell urine on here? :P

Yes, it does take ages and every single time I post I get that bloody 'page cannot be displayed' or some sort of error, which results in double-posting. It's very tiresome and wastes about 50% of the time actually spent trying to view topics, post replies, or go from one section to the other.

Goodbye, Maurice. (Again.)

This forum is very frustrating at times (lots of times actually) because it seems to crash a lot.

But it's a free service kindly provided by its host and there's some cracking debate and banter here, so what's to whinge about?

You know me so well...

I was quite surprised when I logged in this morning and saw that thread I started. I didn't remember starting it but I had been over-indulging in Stella and Bombay Sapphire :shy:

I must have been pretty pissed (off).

When I want a refresher course in SQL I'll something well ask!!!

We apologise for any inconvenience

well, you know, if people emailed me when it was happening I might be able to do something about it - wow, radical idea there eh guys :). Let the admin know there is a problem and he might fix it :)

The hosting is changing very soon so hopefully that will fix the slow problems

Well done for trying Col, I don't tend to email you as I always think that everyone else has probably done it already!

I disturbed Ardross by e-mail instead, and he in turn disturbed our lovely Col. Thank you both. Sorry for the disturbance.

Erm.... I haven't tried the advice yet, Arders. I've sent his suggestion to MI5 to have it decoded from Alien into English, and as of tonight the site's hung badly again, and given me loads of 'can't be displayed'. Which is SUCH a shame, as you've now missed my extremely cogent posting on the all-weathering of Kempton Park. I attempted to post it some six times, but the site refused. No doubt bored rigid by any further ramblings about all weather courses. But I can't be bothered to summon up my powers of cogency to repeat it, and that's sadly your loss, old bean! :D

Nice to see that the site is now adopting its own form of editorial control and is expressing its intelligent distaste for Kempton's plans

do you use MSN or ICQ? If you do I can come online and talk you through some things to try (incuding using a proxy server to get round NTL's awful one they force you to use :) )

Oh, and BTW - seeing as they haven't bothered to reply
NOBODY use supanames for hosting
they are rubbish
you know the problems on here, well i have emailed support 5 times now over the past 2 months and have yet to recieve a reply

Thanks, Col, that's very kind of you. Ermmmmm... how do I find out if MSN is my server? I've got an MSN logo on my desktop, but I don't use it to get onto the Internet. I use NTL, though I feel I should've stayed with Freeserve. I only went over to NTL because I got my cable tv through them, and I only got THAT because I wanted ATR! So, it's all ATR's fault, really...

PDJ explained this to me - if you have a hotmail account you can sign up to MSM Messenger which means that so long as you are signed in and the other person also is you can have a real time "conversation "
