Thousand Stars won the Prix la Barka at Auteuil today. All credit to him, he is one tough horse and has been some money-spinner for connections. Zaidpour was second too, so the Mullins stable has picked the most of 125k euro today in France.
 
Bought in from France as a 3 yo. Could have been bought for less than 10k after winning Killarney maiden hurdle May08. T J Doyle recommended him as a syndicate horse saying he could run every week in the frame. How true !
 
Mid Dancer also deserves a honourable mention for his 3rd Grand Steeplechase de Paris taking his careeer earnings over £2.5 million.
 
Best keep all accolades for this wonderful horse here.
I thought at Christmas that he had lost form but thankfully he is near as good as ever.
Ideal for WPM that he was in the same ownership as Quevega so she could spared as TS was running in all the top races.
He has only been unplaced 4 or 5 times in WPM's care which is some achievement given the number of Grade 1s he has run in.
A dream of a horse.
