Champagne Fever and Don Cossack clash. Should be a belter.
Texas Jack and Smokey Joe Joe complete the field. Who wins this?

Milsean also in action.

surprised CF out so soon after a tough King George.

would side with the Don.

The timing's probably right for the Festival, though (with its 26k pot) it looks no more than a trial for either to determine which race they'll run in.

My take on it is everyone will want to be with Don Cossack because of the hard race CF had at Kempton.Don Cossack is a grade 1 winner with a grade 1 target and this race might not be the end of the world.CF is guaranteed to shorten up in running.Texas Jack travels well and he could pick up the pieces.

Also surprised he's turning Fever out so quick.
Would have to be with Don here I think.

The Market for this race has totally flipped overnight, with Champagne Fever now EVS fav and Don Cossack out to 11/8.
I'd be more than happy to side with the Don at those prices...

Dunno about that, Frankel - impossible to tell as they jumped the last, imo.

Decent effort from DC regardless. I confess I have somewhat overlooked him (just didn't think he was all that smart), but that was a good run any way I look at it, and he will go to the Ryanair with a decent chance.........of placing behind Cue Card.

Have to agree with Frankel here... Maybe the pocket talking a bit but I was confident the Don was running him down before CF unseated Ruby.

I have no time for CF you'd go skint following him........I never back the horse as I think he's a tad below top class and hard to find the right race for

Ruby although fairly active hadn't really gone for him and I thought was keeping a bit up his sleeve . He had got away quicker at the second last DC had to work hard to get upsides.

A similar jump and Ruby flat out may well have won it..tough one to call

Will never know for sure but I thought Don picked him up well enough with a bit left. Not sure Fever had much left imo.

That may well be the case but that sort of ground three weeks after his last race was hardly CF's optimum conditions but they are DC's.

I'm surprised he ran tbh euro, especially after Kempton.
Walsh said he didn't travel with the same gusto. No surprise really.

Just seen the replay and I agree with Grassy hard to call, however, would also agree with Euro that conditions favoured the Don, wouldn't touch either at Cheltenham though.
