There are nine 9 updates regards security etc..... separately and those with MICROSOFT WORD there are ACTIVE X and SP2 now..... up grades to be loaded mine took in access of 72 minutes so make sure your up to date............... ;)
 
the MICROSOFT OFFICE i.e. WORD may NOT be.... PEE as thats to do with ACTIVE X and takes the time to do...............

BUT GO TO YOUR..... ALL PROGRAMMES after clicking START and scroll up until you reach the WINDOWS UPDATE AND CHECK THEM THERE..... but while your there check them all...............

THEN CHOOSE and CHECK YOUR MICROSOFT OFFICE i.e. WORD and it will guide you through the up dates.........
 
Mine installed a few days ago too. Since installing, IE is knackered in that you cannot type into any login boxes etc, so I"m having to use Firefox at present. Also gone is system restore. The calendar is now blank. :angy:

It was either these updates, or the E.Dead Group :unsure:
 
The network in my office has been goosed along the same lines of Dave G's complaints.

Some people can't copy and paste in Word, others can't Bold in Excel, etc, etc, etc

you need to set it up D/O critical updates can be automatic...... these ones are manual CHECK BOTH WINDOWS and OFFICE...........

BIGEEPS I would say that's a conflict with another programme thats causing it.....
