Trudi.....I have finally gotten my hands on a copy of this edition.......thank you for bringing it to my attention!!!!! I am off to study it now!!! :D :D :D
 
Could be Decoupage on the front cover? Could be Shadow Leader riding out on one? Could be Richard Guest's arse? Do I have to buy a copy to find out? I see the magazine whenever I visit the yard but I'm not intending to do so in the next week or so.
 
It's a copy from November, & the 3rd guess was the closest......the best arse in racing has a whole article written about him!
 
It was culprits but at the moment, they have charged nobody as the alibis seem to be backing themselves up. The joys of texting!! They were all at someone's house apparently so the teacher "must be wrong"

Didn't you know, the word of a teacher and that of a 15 year old criminal are given equal weight and so, on the balance of evidence, nothing can be done. The same happened to me last year when a child came up after school and told me I had "better watch myself going home tonight" I told the Headteacher and was told that it was my word against his so they could go no further. He then accused me of being hypersensitive when I asked for a second adult in my classroom all day every day as the word of one was no longer sufficient.
 
Gone pear shaped haven't it it’s about time this was sorted out as a matter of urgency what’s gone wrong with society??? and the receiver of violence seems to be the guilty party because he was just there.............

I went into Kwik Save at lunchtime I had got a basket with about 7 items in it wanted some cash back and to do the lottery as well..........

So a coloured guy aged about 23 I would have said was behind me with no shopping but holding a fiver in his hand I said go on you can go before me thinking he wanted a pkt of cigarettes.....

he bought just a lighter and then walked back into the shop the assistant was starting to add my goods up and said excuse me but I need to get a male employee I said why what's a matter.........

she said that guy who I just served goes into the staff toilet and smokes drugs there's no toilet for the general public to use, so he camps in there smokes his drugs then becomes abusive..........what a brilliant world we live in, in it?

I was reading the headlines on Teletext this evening & caught a story about a woman in Liverpool who was so incensed to be refused sex by her boyfriend that she ripped off his left testicle (it was later returned to him by his friend) :o

What would the sentence be on that one, Ardross?

If the Police continue to be useless I suggest a complaint to the Police Complaints Authority on the basis of a failure to carry out a proper investigation. Clear ID evidence from your colleague plus evidence of injuries is enough to charge . It should be left to the court to decide whether the case is proved or not .


The evidence should clearly be enough for the school to seek injucntions on the civil standard of proff namely the balance of probabilities to stop these ex pupils coming near the school on the grounds of trespass .

I was a local authority solicitor and all it needs is a little creative legal thinking . The headteacher should be in touch with the LEA's solicitors to see what can be done .
 
I can't believe that there isn't a case to answer for, P. So presumably this little coterie of crims can now bash up any teacher, any time, for pure sport? It's just not good enough for the school's authority to pre-judge any outcome and to not support its' staff. No wonder the places are forever being torched - what good fun, and no-one's ever prosecuted for arson.
 
I will pass suggestins on to the Headteacher, he probably already knows what to do but why take the chance thatt he is ignorant.
It happens all the time, another colleague was punched in the face by a pupil and all of her friends backed up the story that the teacher hit her first, hence the pupil is still at the school and is thoroughly chuffed with herslf and now considers herself above the law.

Sounds like you had a good day - nice to be teaching at a school from hell is it? It's bloody ridiculous what people can get away with now.
 
PDJ, you should be paid danger money. I know teaching children is meant to be a rewarding career, but at what cost to the teachers at some schools? I can see why there is such a shortage of people wanting to follow this particular career path. I wouldn't last 10 minutes without clumpingd one of the kids in your school and no doubt being dragged off to the police cells before being summoned before a judge. Your job makes my job sound positively divine by comparison - especially as I now have my puppy sat on the desk next to me, chewing his pigs ear and then continually blowing off! :confused: :D

Lowlife little s***s. Sorry but this kind of thing really riles me. Someone who is trying to make a living and help people make something of their lives doesn't deserve this at all. And what punishment will they get, if any? Pretty much sod all I bet.
