To The Sales

Don't know his personal situation, but I'd find it near impossible to sell a young exciting horse like Buveur D'air. Think I'd rather lose a Kid or a kidney...

One that took my eye was Calipto purchased out of the Nicholls yard for just 24K by Venetia Williams, could win a nice handicap at some stage and has won on Heavy, a type Venetia excels with.

Was watching online and when Activial stuck at £20k was tempted to bid myself! He finally when for around £80k (Neil Mullholland I think) and could be a fair buy

The annual dispersal of Michael O’Leary’s Gigginstown House Stud proved extremely popular at the Goffs UK September Sales and provided the two highest prices of the day. Topping the sale was the Grade 2 winning Bright New Dawn who was bought by Matt Coleman and Venetia Williams for £56,000 whilst the Grade 3 placed Cogryhill was bought by Adam Potts for £44,000.
