Looks like the Hannons have a proper sprinter there with War Spirit- travels beautifully and picked up well .

C'mon guys.....This thread should be full to the hilt with horses names. All you pro's and none of you have a note book to share?

Keep an eye out for Tom Dascombes Little Belter who gives the distinct impression of a horse being lined up for a touch.

Royal Battalion is an interesting runner today. By Sea the Stars out of a full-sister of Fame and Glory he couldn't be better bred. Is he wound up to compete on his debut? Will he go in the soft going.. don't see why not. Worth some of your interest if not your money this time.

Ian Baldings Secret Hint could be one to follow. She won yesterday despite looking like a horse badly in need of the run.

David Probart had not been hard on her but found he had still plenty horse under him 2 furlongs out and actually took a pull when the 2 in front were set alight.

When he asked her to go and win her race she quickened in an instant and shot to the front but its was short lived. Instead of pulling away from her rivals she looked like she blew up right after her exertions took her to the front and she just ran on one paced to the line.

With that run under her belt she should be able to take on better opposition and win again.
