I was trying to reply to the Ebor thread and was in the process of addressing various points. When I went to submit the post, which had taken me a wee while, I got a message saying I couldn't add the post because the 'token had expired'. This has never happened before and it's taken me longer to answer other posts than this one.

Could some kind soul explain? This would discourage me from making detailed replies.

You could type it out in word, save and then copy and paste.

I could, and usually do if I plan to write something lengthy, but when you start a reply you sometimes think of more things than you originally intended to. Even so, this wasn't that long. A couple of sentences in answer to a few of dj's comments.

Gareth, the dialog box disappeared when I clicked 'OK'. Basically, it's as I said. Something along the lines of 'you cannot post this message as the token has expired. PLease press the 'back' button and upload your message again." Which I did, and which took me back to dj's post.

Ok, probably:

Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired.

Please push the back button and reload the previous window.

It seems like pressing your browsers "back" button followed by "reload" should retrieve the situation. If you (or anyone else) sees the message can you try doing this and let me know what happens?
