An account of this rather extraordinary case is available on the Racing Post website . Not sure how well it went down with the district judge as she gave him a 22 months disqualification .

No doubt any suggestion that this also explains his ride on Frankel in the St James's Palace stakes is completely without foundation .
 
As a sleepwalker for many years I ended up in a couple of mildly embarrassing situations.A friend of a friend who is a serious drinker and sleepwalker was on a major session one weekend and got up to go for a pee in the hotel he was staying in-when he was finished he walked out the bedroom door and up two flights of stairs-he knocked on a random door and the person who was staying in the room let him in.There were seriously embarrassing scenes the next morning when the two of them woke up and tried to figure out what was happening.
 
Irish women are great for dealing with stuff like that -spill a few Rice Krispies at breakfast and they go mental.
