How funny was tonights episode?

Thought the bit in the garage in Alabama was hilarious

Thought the cow bit was funny too (puts flame proof jacket on)

And fat stig

I'm glad someone opened this thread

Alright some of it was stage managed, but as soon as I saw what they'd scrawled on each others cars I thought, oh shite!!! this has the capacity to go badly wrong. It's one thing to set up mechnaical stunts there's a bit of engineering science to them, quite another when your dealing with the unpredictability of deep south reactionaries

I swear James May never got to 50mph either before hitting the breaks, he just worked out he was going to end swimming with the gators otherwise.

And a bit social commentary by way of sting in the tail too

It was sheer brilliance - absolutely hysterical. I wasn't so sure they could outdo trying to murder the Toyota pickup but last night's episode had me crying with laughter. "Man Love Rules OK" was hilarious and the scenes from the garage were class. Loevd it, will have to watch the repeat on Weds too. I can only imagine the abuse they're going to get over that episode - there was a shitty enought letter from a yank in this month's edition of Top Gear magazine, the bloke who wrote it must have had a coronary on watching last night's episode.

Americans seem to have no sense of humour

I thought the episode was hilarious, but not quite as funny as the Winter Olympic special
