Trudi!

Eeeeeek !!!

(blimey - nobody ever wants to speak to me !!!)

Shes very well thankyou, found that she has some problems which mean shes not able to be ridden(she went lame a couple of months back when the ground was so frozen,so had that investigated and decided to rethink things when I got the results,as it was a lot more than we were expecting)she is off to stud in the next few weeks,to a gorgeous coloured cob x tb, which I am hoping will give me a nice foal to play about with - then the plan(well, my plan - hers is just to eat as much as possible and wrap me round her hoof!) is for her to go back to a TB (or an arab possibly, havent really got that far yet) next year and see if I cant breed something that I can keep to run...

I bought her a new rug yesterday(spoilt pampered princess that she is!!) - cant believe that Ive been sucked into the fashion world....

Weeks?? minutes.... ;) Im glad actually - I was fairly well hungover when i put it on her this morning (in the pouring rain!!) its a bit bright....

Yes - found a horse to do the ride on - I did think for a while that Id be doing it on a hobby horse, but my friend looks after a "proper" (gypsy type) cob in return for free livery, so as long as the owner is happy, I'll be doing it on her(shes pretty cool, typical cob humour!) - failing that, another friend has said I can do the ride on his horse,so I think I should be ok. I wont have a riding horse of my own before then I very much doubt, but Im uber greatful for the help that my friends have given me... :)

almost as greatful as I am for all the support Ive had from lots of people with regard to the sponsorship - you have all been amazing, it means the world to me to have so much support, from a lot of people that Ive only met through here and the other forums I go on,sometimes the computer is a wonderful thing... :)

I'm so sorry to hear she's not rideable, Troodles. That's got to be a big disappointment, so I hope you can make something out of her continuing to beget foals, especially one that you might end up racing as the owner/breeder. I do love the rug - probably better, given her colouring, than the shocking pink Katie Price option! I'll PM you about sponsoring, too. I can probably sell a kidney and give you a tenner...

lol - now I feel like Im begging !!! But its a very good cause,(though one Im saddened we have to do rather than the government or the forces themselves!),but thats a different story...

thankyou both very very very much xxxxxxxx

Rug news - its still clean !!! Amazingly theres not a spot of mud on it - so either she hasnt laid down yet, or the rain washed it clean....

She looks a real beauty in that rug and I can just imagine her winding you about her hoof.

The rug is fab, and will still look great even covered n mud!

Hope he matings go well, for sure you will have fun with the offspring. :<3:

:) - Songy knows she hasnt got a hope - I have a network of cavernous areas to hide her in ;) !!!

Think Ive found my stallion for next year :ninja: - just need to come up with the fee/keep now - (and the fact that Im thinking about it a year in advance gives you a clue how much it is !!!!)

Shes got sinisitis at the moment - bless her, one VERY yellow snotty nostril has been greeting me for the last couple of days - oh I do so love calling work when Im on holiday !!! Shes due to go to the coloured in the next fortnight though - I hope it is just sinisuitis rather than anything else, and shes better by then,or its getting a bit late...

Honestly, Troods !!

Unless she's off her grub (which, knowing her, would mean she was dead), all she's got is the snots - mine have all had it - it's this pissing weather which can't make its mind up what it wants to do.

Just a bloody cold, is all.....

 thats what Ive been telling her since Thursday when it started and I did to her what I do when Ive got a cold (minus the whisky!) - wrapped her up a bit warmer and ignored it!! (then got the really thick, stinking snot yesterday, which is why I was on the phone this morning when it wasnt any better today - contrary to how it appears Im not a total munchausens - but I do know when its more than just a sniffle - plus we need to get shot of it before she goes away!) Colds I dont mind - shes not allowed the other things that produce the one sided snots, shes been told !!!!!

The day that horse goes off her feed is going to be a seriously concerning day....

Gave one yearling depocillin as he had it - cleared up in three days. Other yearling then got it, didn't give him anything and it cleared up in three days....

Right none of you coming to visit me until after May 8th! Don't want Reggie boy getting a nasty!

Songs - please urgently mail me some horse-strength depocillin, as my viral chest infection (aka Gobawmighty) has sailed past Amoxycillin (as usual) and is still disgusting. Doctor: "Teacup?" Me, after wondering what the hell he was on about: "Teacup? I could give you a teapotful!"
