As pointed out by Chris Cook of The Guardian.

What's David Elsworth up to ? No runners at Musselburgh for at least 4 years but has one in each of the first four 4 races tomorrow. Good chances too and apparently the trainer will be there.

Does anyone think any of that is significant ?

3 winners, 11/10, 11/1 & 9/1 (R4 applies) and fourth beaten a head at Evs, good days work for the stable!

No, I'm absolutely gutted I missed this, I punted Aetna given it was on gigs to follows, I'd have quite happily thrown all elsworths in as well. Good shout, just sorry I missed it

Got another of these theories here, coincidentally involving Musselburgh. The 3.35 is one of these big sprint handicaps, £43k to the winner.

Jim Best sends a horse called Stone of Falco all the way up there for its seasonal debut. In 17 runs this horse has raced 15 times in the South and once each at Haydock and York. Now the thing is this horse has won first time out for the last two seasons and last year it was at the Derby Day sprint at Epsom at 50-1. The going tomorrow is Gd/Firm the same ground on which it has achieved its victories. Draw in its favour.

Significant ?

I've got it earmarked DG - it has been pulled out a number of times this year, I think because of the ground. Bit of rain forecast for Muss tomorrow so I'll probably be reassessing on tomorrow mornings weather. If it rains I'm guessing they will pull it again.

Thanks ptp I've just sussed it was second first time out the season before as well beaten a head. Obviously goes well fresh.

Big class 2 handicap at York tomorrow, Body and Soul was given a very easy ride after 7 months off and only beaten 2 lengths in a class3. Won in Listed race in October so should be the best horse in the race in my opinion. Tim desperate for a winner at York and I'll be surprised if this one doesn't at least place.
