Points allocation for the TTF is totally messed up... Apparently they are aware of it and are trying to fix it. No idea when though.

tote dividend points
Tote dividend points will be awarded according to the official totewin and toteplace dividend odds - including a £1 unit stake - as follows:
Win dividend – straight conversion from £’s to points. For example for a £9.40 win dividend the horse is awarded 9.40 points, £15.30 is awarded 15.30 points etc. Horses finishing first will not receive the place dividend.
Horses that finished placed will only receive the toteplace dividend points (unless finishing second in the bonus races detailed above). This will be on the same criteria as above - i.e. £7.20 equates to 7.20 points.
The maximum tote dividend points earned by a horse, in a race is 50 points. So if a horse was returned at a totewin dividend of £67.50, the number of points earned would be 50.
See 'Star Horse' section below for more details on the 50 point cap.
If no totewin/toteplace dividend is declared, the Starting Price will determine any tote dividend points using standard each-way terms. Should neither a totewin dividend nor a Starting Price be returned, Tote dividend points will not apply.
star horse points
Players nominate one horse to be their 'Star Horse' in each entry.
This horse scores double points on the Tote dividend points system, detailed above, for a win or place in any race.
For example a horse wins and returns the following dividend: £6.20.
As the horse is the 'Star Horse' the return will be doubled for a total combined return of 12.40 points.
The maximum combined 'tote dividend + star horse' points is capped at 50 for any one horse in any race. Therefore the maximum total number of points earned by a horse, in a £30,000+ bonus race is 100 points – i.e. 25 prize money points + 25 bonus race points + a maximum of 50 tote dividend + star horse points.
public leagues
Ten to Follow players are automatically entered into separate public TTF leagues dependent upon where you place your entry, e.g if you enter in a Betfred shop you are in the Betfred Shop league, enter via the Racing Post you are in the Post's public league and so on.
overall prize
There will not be a guaranteed minimum dividend pay out.
All stake monies, will be aggregated and paid out in dividends after a 30% deduction to cover administration costs.
The remaining 70% of all stakes will be divided as follows to the overall winners:
OVERALL POSITION % PRIZE
WINNER 70%
2ND 10%
3RD 5%
4TH 4.5%
5TH 3%
6TH 2.5%
7TH 2%
8TH 1.5%
9TH 1%
10TH 0.5%
In the event of a tie for any places, the dividend(s) for the places concerned will be shared.
In addition to the overall winners, the highest scoring entry in the prize periods below will win the following prizes:
PERIOD PRIZE
MAY 3RD - 31ST £5,000
JUNE £5,000
JULY £5,000
AUGUST £5,000
SEPTEMBER £5,000
OCTOBER 1ST - 18TH £5,000

Used to be any ten horses
Then ten from 1000
Then ten from 500
Then ten from 400
Now ten from 200-odd that the office junior picks off the official what we are told are good horses list
The whatever to follow from whatever

Yes it's rubbish. But they can't even get it right with this very restricted pool of horses according to their own rules. We shouldn't have to continually point out mistakes that just aren't picked up.
