Again today, the racing looks dreary to me and there are no horses That I can see that simply must be bet on.
I do have a couple going from my list to keep an eye on although I wouldn't heartily recommend them as publishable, confident selections. I mention them merely because I shall back them so as not to miss out; insurance bets, if you like.
Pasha Bay - 5.20 Hamilton Withdrawn
I've noted this one after his last performance but I would have my doubts about whether he'll stay this distance. That last run over 10f was a slowly - urn affair and the breeding doesn't scream 12f, does it?
Manettino - 5.30 Wolverhampton Unpl
Not realy on today and would like to see him back at Kempton, think. Very little insurance bet so not crying about this one today.
Went into the notebook two runs ago at Kempton running against older horses and now back amongst the 3yo's, he might be an ew bet but not with any confidence. Trainer 0-30 last two weeks. Horse's first time on Tapeta. If he was back at Kempton and the trainer was in better nick, it might be a more positive thing.
So, lots of questions but it will be interesting to see how they go.
