More positivity:

Although they have little or no impact on my own strategies, or betting, l think there are loads of well informed pundits/presenters on TV these days (though obviously they don’t/can’t reveal all they know). When I first started taking an interest in racing as a young boy in the mid 60’s, the overall quality of analysis, both on TV and in the press was a million years behind what is available now - and it stayed that way for a long time.

I have a high regard for Lydia Hislop, the Dixon Brothers, Gary O’Brien, Kevin Blake, Ruby Walsh, Seb Sanders and a few more. Nick Luck is excellent and I think we are lucky he is involved in Racing as he could be a top Journalist in any field. His interviewing style, his adaptability and his relaxed nature drawing information from his guests that not many others could. I always think he would have been a great political interviewer, had he gone down that route.
