Only 2 races worth looking at imo.
The classic at Warwick 300
fortescue 20/1 ran well in the Becher but was disappointing in the welsh national with cheekpieces on.retained.but could be trained for a race in feb it won last year.
Commodore 16/1 it won last year and nothing got near it .disappointed in the national and a decent run first time out.if it leads it could be hard to catch.
Lord de mesnil 9/1 below its last winning mark and only got beat last time by the horse that then won the Hennessey.

The other race is the lanzarote 240 kempton
Loads have big chances but I've got to back
up for parol 22/1
I followed this horse last year and had inspirations for it doing the imperial cup county hurdle double but he was very disappointing in the imperial and pulled up.
6th in this race last year but only a couple of lenghts behind the 2nd.
The winner reopposes (won easily) but is 14lb worse off with UOP.

My bet is
Commodore 16/1
Up for Parol 22/1

Just seen a Jamie Snowden stable tour video and he said nothing went right for up for parol in the lanzarote last year and he said it felt like one that got away.he said the race would be the aim again.
Gave me some encouragement.

Both bookies races. I don't understand why punters are drawn to big field competitive races when easier prey is available.

Everybody to their own Euro.its what I prefer and I seem to make it pay.you have to put too much on a favourite.

True, it's whatever works for the individual punter. I'm a mid priced guy, I do well with 7/2-8/1 shots generally in less competitive races where I spot an angle or one of my trackers is running. Tile Tapper the perfect example of this running tomorrow. Yes he's fav now but with a tracker alert one can step in early doors and get the value.

Nearly did Tile tapper myself, Euro, but upon reviewing that last Kempton run when 2nd to Remastered, I think there's more value to be found with Smarty Wild at 8/1. He ran on really well in that same race to be 3rd but he was staying on very well that day on what was only his 3rd run since April. That Kempton race was run lickedy - split and both Tile Tapper and Smarty have proved they can jump at pace round the tricky Kempton track.

Whatever, it's just my cup of tea when it comes to racing.

A really good effort by up for parol and a good profit.

The less said about commodore the better.he lined up as if he was going to lead and dropped it out and moved from the rail into the middle and it never got going.
Maybe its run in the grand national bottomed him as they carried on to finish 12th beaten a long distance which I can never understand.
Maybe hes being trained for a veterans race.
Very disappointing today.
