It just goes to show how pathetic some women can be, attracted to an ugly big fat plonker like Mr P just because he is in a position of power/authority/influence/importance.

Or could she really have been attracted to him?

My criticism of him would be even more severe but I know plenty who'd be saying, "Good on you, Big John!"

He's a big fiesty man with a Jag who judging by the pictures in todays Mirror, knows how to party.

Pretty droolworthy in my books ;)

A reporter on the radio today was saying that his various affairs over many years were common knowledge among members of the "chattering classes".

The fact that the media had kept quiet about this aspect of his life for so long may have been the reason he wasn't particularly enraged (for 2 jags) when a bean was eventually spilt in the Mirror.

Currie and Major was a big story because no one in the media had an idea. Let's face it you could never have dreampt that one up.

I give the old bat some credit for not reporting it at the time of " Back to Basics" Major would have had to go there and then .

Hypocracy of the highest order and a superb example of just how New Labour is even worse than the alternatives - remember who shouted (yes, shouted ) loudest during the various scandals exposed during the last few months of 1996/97?

None other than the foul-mouthed, ill-mannered, vulgar and crass individual Prescott, of course.

Yesterday just has to be the worst in New Labour's history to date - it's just extremely sad we don't have a really good alternative to vote for.

I sat opened mouthed in amazement last week when I saw the Labour party political broadcast on the gogglebox :o They were doing nothing but take the piss out of David Cameron, likening him to a chameleon. It made them look like silly little schoolboys, picking on a new boy. It was pathetic. I was reading the Mail On Sunday and apparently according to a survery the broadcast had backfired spectacularly as people had said seeing that had made them want to vote Conservative instead of Labour  And the animal most like Tony Blair was a snake

Hypocracy ? Tut tut Julie - it is hypocrisy . In Jon's absence from the forum I thought that I must point that out :P

Griffin surely you don't believe what is written in the Mail on Sunday ?

Oh dear.

I really don't care who is shagging who as long as they're doing their jobs . Surely that should be the electorate's only concern . Nice capital letters Merlin

How do you tell if JP is actually doing his job though, does anyone know what it is he does for a living?
This isnt sarcastic (well maybe a little bit) but I am genuinely asking what his job entails.

According to the official website "The ODPM's aim is to create prosperous, inclusive and sustainable communities for the 21st century, places where people want to live, that promote opportunity and a better quality of life for all.".

Not sure which part of it that Two Jags does mind

"There are now 700,000 fewer children living in poverty than in 1996/97.
The number of pensioners living in poverty has also fallen by at least 50%."

That happens when you lower the poverty line John. See it used to be annual household income less than 20k, now it's 15k - thus cutting poverty :)

If you fancy reading the blog of a government minister then from the same source here is David Miliband's

It features a lot of current affairs and Mr Miliband's up to date view on the official World Cup single, I think he's "with it"

I didn't say he WAS doing his job , just that I don't care if he has a frXXXing harem if he DOES do it :D

But Solerina - I also don't care who shags who as long as it doesn't interfere with their ability to do their work without bias and correctly - the point in this instance is that the loudest critic of the last government's extra-marital shag-fests was Prescott and it does clearly therefore indicate that what he preached then is evidently not what he practices - surely the biggest pointer to the basic fact that you cannot trust or believe anything he says!
