A multiple of times faster than home broadband.
Have any of you considered signing up to EE who are rolling out the LTE 1800 MHz band network at the end of this month. ( in the first connectivity patches of London, Brum, Cardiff, etc) ?
Necessary of course to first get a compatible phone -- either the iPhone5 or the Lumia 920

Wil any of you think it is worth it, or will you stay with your current providers O2 or Vodaphone who cannot offer 4G ?

The 3G coverage outside of Dublin is nothing short of scandalous. I can only imagine how poor 4G will be here.

I think the 4G offering from EE, whilst being legit, will still predominately use 3G infrastructure in the backbone, and I'm not convinced there will necessarily be an immediate, material improvement in response times.

Or so my Telecomms data guy tells me.

Put it this way, he told me I'd largely be wasting time/money in changing suppliers and getting a compatible phone.
