This chick tried out for Australian Idol (has gotten in), am led to believe she came 6th in 2003?

Am I correct in saying this?

I remember her! Not sure when it was but I do remember seeing her on the show. She was a particular favourite of Pete Waterman.

She just won the Australian Idol judges over. Didn't sound too bad actually.

Did she sing a Mariah Carey song?

She finished about 6th or 7th in pop idol when Will Young won and Gareth Gates finished 2nd. She sounded good singing a Mariah Carey song, but when she sang The winner takes it all by Abba, she sounded like a cat being strangled, as you can still see if you go on youtube

Finishing 5th that year was a girl called Hayley Evetts and she is also having another go at Stardom as I hear she has entered the X factor this year.

The top 24/semi-finals announced on Monday, and Rosie has made it through, she is just days away from knowing whether she will make it to the final 12.

Well after the first group of 6 female singers last night presented themselves, she is going to have to be platinum and not gold to beat the Zimbabwean-born girl, Tarisai.
