Aland Islands looked a useful type winning the first division of the bumper at Exeter today. He looks one for the future, a grand stamp of a horse who will make a chaser in time. In the second division of the bumper I was taken with Swaling which, although looking a little barmy, travelled supremely well throughout the race only to for greenness to take over when a question was asked on the run in where he ran all over the place and hung away from the whip, as well as well as hanging dramatically away from the whip of the winner. With a bit more race experience he might just be ok.
