Decided to tip early as there are good prices that will shorten today. Good day yesterday for a change picking 4/5
13h00 Christopher Robin 2/1. 2nd run after rest and will strip fitter today, and will enjoy the change over of tracks being a longer straight. He is 0.5kg worse off with Seven Patriots and 2.5kg worse with Expressfromtheus, but as i said my selection will enjoy this course/track.
13h34 Smoke 11/2. Finally gets the long vaal straight which will suit his racing. He is 1kg worse with War Jewel when he beat him by 2.5L, so not enough to reverse form. 2.5kg better with Stop For Nothing and War Jewel should beat Oscar Wilde on formlines. My selection does suffer breathing problems in running but hoping Strydom can steer him home for a victory.
14h10 Cockney Pride 5/2 BEST BET. Now she is running in a graduation plate with a MR110. She is running in a very very very weak field with a ave MR85 and my selection is well in at the weights. If she does not need this run she will **** in!!!!!!!!! Has a tongue tie on to help her breathe. BIG BIG RUNNER
14h40 Dan The Lad 9/2. He is a big runner now that Certifiable has been withdrawn. This course will suit his running style. He won well last start but only got penalised 4 pounds. Is course/dist winner and he has a good chance on following up today. Fired Up(fav) is the danger but after watching the 1st 2 races the course seem to favour middke inside and the fav is drawn on the outside.
15h10 The Fifth Wave 16/1 ROUGHIE TIME. He is 1kg better with Twelve Oaks, 8kg better with Sheer Talent(fav),3kg better with Anne Boleyn and 4.5kg with Royal Lily. Captiana is looking for 1000m so this is too far. Wylie Wench is looking for further so this too short. Eskimo Kisses has 8kg more than my selection so all in all i have a nice outsider with all the boxes ticked.
